Through creativity and a vision for the future, we have made significant investments to rebuild the urban core of Grand Rapids, our hometown. Rockford Development Group owns or manages nearly 1.8 million square feet of space in downtown Grand Rapids. There, we’ve brought new life to old buildings such as 70 Ionia, Peck Building, 32 Market, 120 Ionia and much of Monroe Center.  We have also helped institutions like Thomas M. Cooley Law School and Western Michigan University, corporations like Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and medical facilities like Saint Mary’s Health Care expand or find new homes in the city proper.

That success has allowed us to grow beyond Grand Rapids as well. We’ve brought condominiums and townhouses to residents throughout West Michigan. We helped Wolverine World Wide build a much-needed warehouse in Cedar Springs through a long-term lease back. And Rockford Development Group has provided medical office space to physicians and hospitals from southeast Grand Rapids to Muskegon.
